Crimson Knit Pullover
You’ll need:
400g of crimson color yarn (50% wool, 50% acryl; 300m/100g);
Straight and circular knitting needles 3.
Size: S.
Used Patterns
Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls, in circle row – knit;
Main pattern: 1st row: 1 knit st, 1 purl;
2nd row: knit sts above purls, purls above knit sts.
Repeat 2nd row.
Patterns order: 14 rows of main pattern, 6 rows of stockinette stitch, 14 rows of main pattern, 6 rows of stockinette stitch, 14 rows of main pattern, then, continue work with stockinette stitch.
Note: this pullover is made from upper part as raglan to neck-hole.
Instructions
Front and Back
Cast on 60 sts and divide them in the following way: 7 sts – half of front, 12 sts – sleeve, 22 sts – back, 12 sts – second sleeve, 7 sts – second half of front. Work, increasing 1 st in every 2nd row before and after raglan lines. Make the sts of raglan as knit sts. Increase 1 st in every 2nd row along V-shape neck-hole. Make edge sts as knit sts. When the depth of neck-hole is 16 cm, length of raglan lines 24 cm, leave the sts of sleeves, and work with back and front with circle rows. At 40 cm height from the set-up row, bind off all the sts. Make a stripe of 80 cm long due to the scheme. Sew stripe to the bottom of pullover. Then, cast on 120 sts along the bottom of pullover and make 6 cm of 1 x 1 rib. Bind off all the sts.
Sleeves
Work with patterns order. In 48 cm, bind off all the sts. Make stripe of 36 cm long due to the scheme and sew it to the sleeves.
Fasten neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets.
