​Knit Pullover with Wavy Fringe

You’ll need:

550 (600) 650g of yellow Andes yarn (65% Alpaca, 35% silk; 100m/50g);

Straight and circular knitting needles 5.

Used Patterns

Wavy pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 18 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme 1, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows due to the pattern, yarn overs – as purls. Repeat 1st-10th rows between selvage sts.

Fancy pattern: the quantity of sts is odd. Work due to the scheme 2, on which both RS and WS rows are stated. Start with 1 selvage st, pattern repeat, finish with st after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1st-4th rows.

1 x 1 rib.

Stitches control: wavy pattern: 18 sts x 21,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Fancy pattern: 21 sts x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 110 (110) 128 sts and make fringe with wavy pattern. At 14 cm = 30 rows height, work with fancy pattern, decrease 9 (1) 11 sts in the 1^st row = 101 (109) 117 sts. At the same time from fringe, bind off 5 x 1 st in every 14^th row from both sides for side chamfers = 91 (99) 107 sts. In 31 cm = 90 rows (29 cm = 84 rows) 27 cm = 78 rows from fringe, bind off 3 sts from both sides for arm-holes and 4 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row = 69 (77) 85 sts. In 47 cm = 136 rows from fringe, bind off the central 33 (37) 41 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 3 sts and 1 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row. In 49,5 cm = 144 rows from fringe, bind off the rest 13 (15) 17 sts of shoulder from each side.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but for deeper neck-hole, bind off the central 13 (17) 21 sts in 41,5 cm = 120 rows from fringe and 2 x 3 sts, 4 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st in every 2^nd row.

Sleeves

Cast on 56 (56) 74 sts and make fringe with wavy pattern. At 14 cm = 30 rows height, work with fancy pattern, decrease 9 (1) 11 sts in the 1^st row = 47 (55) 63 sts. At the same time from fringe, increase 10 x 1 st in every 6^th row = 67 (75) 83 sts, include the increased sts in the pattern. In 22 cm = 64 rows from fringe, bind off 2 (3) 4 sts from both sides for sleeve caps and 2 x 2 sts, 16 x 1 st, 2 x 2 sts and 1 x 2 (3) 4 sts in every 2^nd row. In 37 cm = 108 rows from fringe, bind off the rest 11 (15) 19 sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Cast on 84 (92) 100 sts along neck-hole with circular knitting needle and make 2 cm of rib for placket, then, bind off all the sts due to the pattern. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
