​Knit Wavy Pullover

You’ll need:

200 (250)g of red Artemis yarn (55% silk, 45% cotton; 145m/50g);

100 (150)g of the same yarn, but in burgundy color;

100 (150)g of the same yarn, but in yellow color;

Straight and circular knitting needles 4,5.

Size: S (L).

Used Patterns

Wavy pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 10 + 1 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which both RS and WS rows are stated. Start with 1 selvage st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1^st-8^th rows.

Stitches control: 24,5 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 113 (133) sts with red yarn and make 1 WS row of knit sts (don’t take this row into account). Then, work with wavy pattern. In 31,5 cm = 88 rows from the set-up row, cast on 40 sts from both sides for each sleeve of the needed color = 193 (213) sts. In 50 cm = 140 rows (54 cm = 152 rows) from the set-up row, bind off the central 59 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 8 sts in the next 2^nd row from inwards = 59 (69) sts. In the 143^rd (155^th) row from the set-up row, finish right front with sts from arrow A and 1 selvage st; for left half of front, start with 1 selvage st and sts from arrow B. As a result, you’ll make 2 more yarn overs, then decreased sts = 61 (71) sts. In 52 cm = 145 rows (56 cm = 157 rows) from the set-up row, leave the sts.


Front

Make front in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 48,5 cm = 136 rows (52,5 cm = 148 rows) from the set-up row, bind off the central 19 sts and bind off 2 x 10 sts and 1 x 8 sts in every 2^nd row.

Assembly

Make shoulder and upper sleeves seams. Cast on 160 sts along neck-hole with circular knitting needles and red yarn for placket and make 1 row of purls and bind off sts as knit sts. Make side and sleeve seams. Cast on 98 (110) sts along edges of sleeves with red yarn and make packets in the same way.
