Instructions
Back
Make 133 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and make 12 rows of zigzags pattern. Then, make 11 rows of double crochets, decrease 2 sts in the last row (make 2 double crochets together) = 131 sts. Then, make 7 rows of leaves pattern, decrease 14 sts in the last row = 117 sts. Then, work with shells pattern. In 58,5 cm from the set-up row, leave 12 sts from both sides for arm-holes. In 76 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.
Front
Make in the same way, as back, but with V-shape neck-hole. For this, in 44 cm from the set-up row, leave the central st and finish both sides separately. For chamfer, decrease 30 x 1 st in every row from inwards. Finish your work at the height of back.
Sleeves
Make 89 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and make 12 rows of zigzags pattern. Then, make 11 rows of double crochets, decrease 6 sts in the last row = 83 sts. Then, make 7 rows of leaves pattern, decrease 2 sts in the last row = 83 sts. Then, work with shells pattern. In 58 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.
Assembly
Make shoulder seams; sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams. Fasten the neck-hole with 2 rows of single crochets and sew threads with beads in every 2nd crochet.
WOW!
This would be even prettier with some beaded fringe added on at the bottom of the hem ...it would add character, beauty and length! <3
Great idea!
looking for the strawberry crochet pattern… my Mother made me one years ago and it is rather worn out and I would like to make this for my daughter.
