​Lilac Pullover with Scarf

You’ll need:

650 (750)g of lilac Superbingo yarn (100% merino wool; 55m/50g);

Straight knitting needles 5 and 6;

Circular knitting needles 5.

Size: S (L).

Used Patterns

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 12 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which both RS and WS rows are stated. Repeat 1^st-8^th rows between selvage sts.

Garter stitch: in RS and WS rows – knit, in circle rows – 1 circle row of knit sts, 1 circle row of purls by turn.

Stitches control: 15,5 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Pullover

Back

Cast on 74 (86) sts with knitting needles 5 and make 1 WS row of knit sts. Don’t take this row into account. Then, turn to knitting needles 6 and work with the main pattern. In 32,5 cm = 72 rows from the set-up row, bind off 6 sts from both sides for arm-holes = 62 (74) sts. In 50 cm = 110 rows (54 cm = 118 rows) from the set-up row, bind off the central 24 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 3 sts and 1 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row from inwards. In 52,5 cm = 116 rows (56,5 cm = 124 rows) from the set-up row, bind off the rest 14 (20) sts of shoulder from both sides.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but for deeper neck-hole, bind off the central 12 sts in 47 cm = 104 rows (51 cm = 112 rows) from the set-up row and 1 x 4 sts, 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 2 x 1 st in every 2^nd row.

Sleeves

Cast on 38 (50) sts with knitting needles 5 and make 1 WS row of knit sts. Then, turn to knitting needles 6 and work with the main pattern. At the same time from the set-up row, increase 2 x 1 st in every 12^th row and 10 x 1 st in every 8^th row = 62 (74) sts, include the increased sts in the pattern. In 51 cm = 112 rows from the set-up row, bind off all the sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Cast on 84 sts with circular knitting needles along the neck-hole and make 2 cm of garter stitch for placket, then, bind off all the sts as knit sts. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.

Scarf

Cast on 30 sts with knitting needles 6 and work with garter stitch. In 120 cm from the set-up row, bind off all the sts as knit sts. Sew the set-up and the bound off edges together.
