You’ll need:
4 balls of Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable Waves yarn in Aurora color (3972);
Knitting needles 5 mm;
Yarn needle.
Stitches control: 16 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Size: shawl measures 127 cm across lower edge, 67.5 cm along short side edge, and 143.5 cm across hypotenuse (wingspan).
Note
Shawl is knit flat on circular needles, beginning at a point and working to lower edge (see direction of arrow in schematic).
Instructions
Shawl
Cast on 3 sts.
Row 1 (wrong side): Knit.
Row 2: K2, yo, k1 – 4 sts.
Row 3: Knit.
Row 4: K1, yo, k2, yo, k1 – 6 sts.
Row 5: Knit.
Row 6: Knit to last 4 sts, yo, k3, yo, k1 – 8 sts.
Row 7: Knit.
Repeat Rows 6 and 7 only until you have 200 sts total.
Bind off all sts loosely.
Finishing
Weave in all loose ends
