You’ll need:

100% cotton yarn, size 4 Medium weight;

Crochet hook 4.25mm

Instructions

Ch 16.

Row 1: Hdc in 4th ch from hook (turn ch counts as a hdc only on this row), hdc in each of the next 12 sts. 14 hdc total.

Row 2: Ch 2 (does not count as a hdc st now and throughout), TURN, hdc in 13 sts, hdc in top of last turn ch. 14 hdc total.

Rows 3-6: Ch 2, turn, hdc in each of next 14 sts. 14 hdc total.

Row 7: Ch 2, turn, hdc in 13, 2 hdc in last st. 15 hdc total.

Row 8: Ch 2, turn, hdc in 15 sts. 15 hdc total.

Row 9: Ch 2, turn, hdc in 14, 2 hdc in last st. 16 hdc total.

Row 10: Ch 2, turn, hdc in 16. 16 hdc total.

Row 11: Ch 2, turn, hdc in 15, 2 hdc in last st. 17 hdc total.

Row 12: Ch 2, turn, hdc in 17. 17 hdc total.

Row 13: Ch 2, turn, hdc in 15, hdc2tog of the last two sts. 16 hdc total.

Row 14: Repeat row 10. 16 hdc total.

Row 15: Ch 2, turn, hdc in 14, hdc2tog of last two sts. 15 hdc total.

Row 16: Repeat row 8.

Row 17: Ch 2 turn, hdc in 13, hdc2tog of last two sts. 14 hdc total.

Rows 18-22: Repeat row 3. Change to color white.

Ear Straps

Ch 15, skip next 13 sts, slst in last hdc st, sc around the top edge of the mask, when you come to the opposite end, ch 15, skip 13 sts of foundation ch, slst into last st, continue to sc around the bottom edge of the mask. Fasten off.
