You’ll need:

2 skeins of Willow Yarns™ Stream yarn (70% wool, 30% silk; 400m/50g);

Circle or straight knitting needles 3,25 mm;

Crochet hook 3,25 mm.

Size: 147 x 36 cm.

Stitches control: 16 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Make 77 chain sts with contrast yarn and then, lift 77 sts in every st with the main yarn. Make WS set-up row in the following way: 8 purls, place marker, * 21 purls, place marker*; repeat from * to * to the last 6 sts, 6 purls. Continue work due to the schemes of patterns: repeat the scheme 1 x 4 times, scheme 2 x twice, and then, 1st-40th rows of the scheme 2 x once.

Right Corner

1st row: broaching (slip 1 knit st, 1 knit st, draw it through the slipped st), 2 yarn overs, 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, purl2tog, 1 knit st, turn;

2nd row: slip 1 st, yarn in front of work, yarn over, purl2tog, 2 knit sts, 1 purl, 1 knit st;

3rd row: bind off the st, 3 knit sts, yarn over, purl2tog, 1 knit st, yarn in front of work, transfer the next st to the RH needle, return the working yarn again behind work and return the slipped st to the LH needle;

4th row: slip 1 st, yarn in front of work, yarn over, purl2tog, 3 knit sts.

Repeat the last 4 rows x once. Then, repeat 1st-2nd rows one more time.

Second Corner

1st row: broaching, 2 yarn overs, 1 knit st, yarn over, purl2tog, 1 knit st, turn;

2nd row: slip 1 st, yarn in front of work, yarn over, purl2tog, 2 knit sts, 1 purl, 1 knit st;

3rd row: bind off the st, 3 knit sts, yarn over, purl2tog, 1 knit st, yarn in front of work, transfer the next st to the RH needle, return the working yarn again behind work and return the slipped st to the LH needle;

4th row: slip 1 st, yarn in front of work, yarn over, purl2tog, 3 knit sts.

Repeat the last 4 rows x once. Then, repeat 1st-2nd rows one more time.

Sew the sts of corners with the rest sts of your shawl.
