You’ll need:

125g of grey Kaschmire yarn (100% cashmere; 112m/25g);

75g of the same yarn, but in ivory color;

Straight knitting needles 4,5;

Circle knitting needles 3,5;

Crochet hook 4,5;

Auxiliary needle;

Size: 38 x 110 cm.

Used Patterns

With knitting needles 3,5.

3 x 3 rib;

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls;

Wrong-side pattern: in RS row – purls, in WS row – knit sts;

Trim for the neck-hole: transfer selvage st to the knitting needle from RS, insert the needle only in half of the st. Transfer 3 sts out of 3 to the knitting needle, make 1 row with stockinette stitch and leave the sts in the 4th row (WS). Transfer the second half of selvage st to the knitting needle from WS and work in the same way. Then, make 1 RS circle row of knit sts, constantly knitting 1 st from RS and 1 st from WS together. Then, make 15 cm of rib, bind off the sts.

Pattern with cables (14 sts wide), knitting needles 4,5:

1st-6th rows, 8th-12th rows, 14th row: * 1 st of wrong-side pattern, 12 sts of stockinette stitch, 1 st of wrong-side pattern*;

7th row: * 1 purl, cross 8 sts to the right (= leave 4 sts on the auxiliary needle behind work, 4 knit sts, 4 knit sts from the auxiliary needle), 4 sts of stockinette stitch, 1 st of wrong-side pattern*;

13th row: * 1 purl, 4 sts of stockinette stitch, cross 8 sts to the left (= leave 4 sts on the auxiliary needle in front of work, 4 knit sts, 4 knit sts from the auxiliary needle), 1 purl*.

Repeat 1st-14th rows.

Stripes with cables (32 sts wide): 2 sts of stockinette stitch, 2 x 14 sts of pattern with cables, 2 sts of stockinette stitch;

Lace (23 sts wide) with ivory yarn: due to the scheme. Repeat the pattern in width. Make 1st-11th circle rows x once.

Stitches control: 32 sts of stripes with cables = 13 cm;

26 sts of lace = 10 cm.

Instructions

Middle Part with Cables

Cast on 34 sts and work with pattern with cables between selvage sts. In 110 cm from the set-up row, bind off the sts. Connect the sts of the bound off edge with sts of the set-up row with “loop”seam.

Trim for the Neck-Hole

Cast on 240 sts with circle knitting needles along the upper edge of the middle part and knit trim due to the description above.

Lace

Cast on 308 sts and knit lace due to the description above along the lower edge of middle part.
