You’ll need:

300g of red Mondial Giada yarn (70% merino wool, 30% silk; 140m/50g);

Straight knitting needles 4 and 4,5;

Crochet hook.

Size: S.

Used Patterns

Double rib: cast on the half of the needed quantity of sts:

1^st row: with working yarn * 1 knit st, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to *;

2^nd row: * yarn over as knit st, slip 1 st as purl without knitting, yarn in front of work*; repeat from * to *;

3^rd and last rows: * 1 knit st, slip 1 st as purl, yarn in front of work*; repeat from * to * in the ready-made detail and take off the contrast yarn.

2 x 2 rib;

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 1:

1^st row: * 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, knit3tog with double broaching (slip 1 st as knit st, knit2tog, draw it through the slipped st), 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to *, 1 knit st;

2^nd row: purl;

3^rd row: repeat from the 1^st row.

Bead: 4 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the 3^rd chain st from the crochet hook, 1 single crochet in the next chain st.

Stitches control: main pattern, knitting needles 4,5: 25 sts x 25,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 102 sts with knitting needles 4 and make 4 rows with double rib and 48 rows with 2 x 2 rib. After that, work with the main pattern with knitting needles 4,5, decrease 1 x 1 st in the 1^st row and then increase 17 x 1 st in every 2^nd row. In 36 cm from rib, bind off 1 x 45 sts from both sides for shoulders and leave the central 45 sts open.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but in 32 cm (82 rows) from rib, leave the central 11 sts open for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately, don’t knit 1 x 8 sts, 2 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row from both sides of center. In 4 cm from the beginning of neck-hole, bind off the rest 45 sts from both sides.

Assembly

Make one shoulder seam. Cast on 106 sts along the neck-hole with knitting needles 4,5, including the open sts and make 30 rows of 2 x 2 rib and 6 rows with double rib, bind off all the sts. Fasten the sides of front and back, except the lower edge of rib, with the crochet hook in the following way:

1^st and 2^nd rows: single crochets;

3^rd row: * 5 single crochets, 1 bead*; repeat from * to *.

Sew the sides of front and back rib.
