Bright Crochet Pullover
You’ll need:
600 (600; 700; 700)g of Nevada yarn (20% mohair, 35% merino wool, 25% polyacryl, 20% acryl; 200m/100g) in red color;
Knitting needles 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9.
Size: S (M; L; XL).
Stitches control: 12 sts x 17 rows = 10 x 10 cm (stockinette stitch, knitting needles 5);
13 sts x 16 rows = 10 x 10 cm (pattern A, knitting needles 5).
Instructions
Back
Cast on 62 (66; 70; 74) with knitting needles 5 and make 2 rows of garter stitch, after that, turn to stockinette stitch. At 14 cm height, continue work with pattern A. At 40 cm height, bind off 1 x 2 sts from both sides in the beginning of every row and continue making decreases in every RS row 13 (14; 15; 16) x 1 st = 32 (34; 36; 40) sts in the following way: 1 knit st, slip 1 st, 1 knit st, draw it through the slipped st in the beginning of work from the beginning of RS row; knit to the last 3 sts from the left side, knit2tog, 1 knit st. At 57 (58; 59; 60) cm height, bind off the rest 32 (34; 36; 40) sts.
Front
Make in the same way, as back, except neck-hole. At 56 (57; 58; 59) cm height in RS row, bind off the central 20 (22; 24; 28) sts and finish both parts separately. After knitting 2 rows straight, bind off 6 sts from neck-hole side.
Sleeves
Cast on 42 (46; 46; 50) sts with knitting needles and 2 rows of garter stitch, after that, turn to stockinette stitch. At 10 cm height, continue work with pattern A. For raglan, at 30 cm height, bind off 2 sts from both sides in the beginning of every row and continue making decreases in every RS row 9 (10; 11; 12) x 1 st = 20 (22; 20; 22) sts in the following way: 1 knit st, slip 1 st, 1 knit st and draw it through the slipped st in the beginning of every RS row; knit to the last 3 sts from the left side, knit2tog, 1 knit st. At 47 (48; 49; 50) cm height, bind off the rest 20 (22; 20; 22) sts.
Make the second sleeve in the same way.
Assembly
Make 3 and 4 raglan seams. For collar, lift 122 (126; 130; 134) sts along the neck-hole line, make 2 rows of stockinette stitch and continue with pattern A. After making 8 rows of pattern A, change to knitting needles 6 and continue work with pattern A. After making 8 rows with knitting needles 6, change to knitting needles 7 and continue work with pattern A. After making 12 rows with knitting needles 7, change to knitting needles 8 and continue work with the pattern A. After making 3 rows of pattern A with knitting needles 8, change to knitting needles 9 and bind off all the sts. Make the 4th raglan seam, side seam, sleeve seam and collar.
