You’ll need:

50g of yarn (70% acryl, 30% wool; 84m/50g);

Knitting needles 3,5;

Needle with big eye.

Head circumference: 49 cm;

Height of the headband: 11 cm.

1 x 1 rib;

Relief corners pattern: due to the scheme:

1^st row (RS): 1 selvedge st, * 4 knit sts, knit2tog, 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 2 purls, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st, 1 broaching, 4 knit sts*; repeat from * to * to the last st, 1 selvegde st;

2^nd row: 1 selvegde st, * 3 purls, 1 broaching, 1 purl, 1 yarn over, 1 purl, 2 knit sts, 1 purl, 1 yarn over, 1 purl, purl2tog, 3 purls*; repeat from * to * to last st, 1 selvedge st;

3^rd row: 1 selvedge st, * 2 knit sts, knit2tog, 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 2 knit sts, 2 purls, 2 knit sts, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st, 1 broaching, 2 knit sts*; repeat from * to * to last st, 1 selvedge st;

4^th row: 1 selvedge st, * 1 purl, 1 broaching, 1 purl, 1 yarn over, 3 purls, 2 knit sts, 3 purls, 1 yarn over, 1 purl, purl2tog, 1 purl*; repeat from * to * to last st, 1 selvedge st;

5^th row: 1 selvegde st, * knit2tog, 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 4 knit sts, 2 purls, 4 knit sts, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st, 1 broaching*; repeat from * to * to last st, 1 selvedge st;

6^th row: 1 selvegde st, * 7 purls, 2 knit sts, 7 purls*; repeat from * to * to last st, 1 selvedge st.

Repeat 1^st-6^th rows.

Stitches control: 23 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 8 cm.

Instructions

Caston 114 stsandmake 4 rowsofrib. Then, turn to the main pattern due to the scheme. Repeat the vertical pattern x 4 times, which is 24 rows (= 8 cm). Finish work with 4 rows of rib. At 11 cm height, bind off the sts.

Fold the stripe in half and sew.
