Special Stitch

3rd Loop Only - The third loop is located on the back of the dc, just under the back loop.

Stitches control: 7 sts x 4 rows = 2”.

Instructions

1^st row: Ch 69, join to first ch making sure not to twist the chain. Ch 2, dc in same sp as ch 2 and in each sp around. Join. (69 dc);

2^nd row: Ch 2, fpdc around the first dc of row 1. *Bpdc around next, Fpdc around next.* Repeat *to* around. Join. (35 fpdc, 34 bpdc);

3^rd row: Ch 2, Fpdc around next. *Bpdc around next, Fpdc around next.* Repeat *to* around. Join. (35 fpdc, 34 bpdc);

4^th row: In BLO: Ch 1, dc in same and in each around. Join. (69 dc);

5^th row: In 3LO: Ch 1, dc in same and in each around. Join. (69 dc);

6^th row: In BLO: Ch 1, dc in same and in each around. Join. (69 dc);

7^th row: In 3LO: Ch 1, dc in same and in each around. Join. (69 dc);

8^th row: In BLO: Ch 1, dc in same and in each around. Join. (69 dc);

9^th row: Ch 2, fpdc around the first dc from row 8. *Bpdc around next, fpdc around next.* Repeat *to* around. Join. (35 fpdc, 34 bpdc);

10^th row: Ch 2, fpdc around next, *Bpdc around next, fpdc around next.* Repeat from *to* around. Join. (35 fpdc, 34 bpdc).

Fasten off & sew in ends.
