Relief Crochet Neck-Warmer
You’ll need:
1 skein of yarn (50% wool, 50% acryl; 100g/156m);
Crochet hooks 4,5 – 5;
5 buttons.
Stitches control: 16 sts x 14 rows = 10 x 10 cm with single crochets.
Note: Crochet this neck-warmer across.
Instructions
Make 17 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and continue work.
1st row: 4 double crochets, 3 half double crochets, 10 single crochets;
2nd row: 1 chain st increase, 10 single crochets, 3 half double crochets, 5 double crochets.
Make these 2 rows by turn to 37 cm height.
Or you can use another variant:
2nd row: 3 chain sts, double crochets to end of row.
In this case, turn your work and fasten it with the fancy pattern due to the scheme.
Fringe
You should make 3 double crochets from every selvedge st – 1st row, then, make 6 or 8 double crochets, but not 7, as it’s stated on the scheme, for the symmetry.
1st variant of the last row: * 3 double crochets, picot of 23 chain sts, 3 double crochets in one hole, skip the next hole of the lower row*; repeat from * to * x 3 times on 1 motif of the pattern, variant – single crochets between motifs.
2nd variant of the last row: * 3 double crochets, 2 chain sts, 3 double crochets in one hole, skip the next hole of the lower row*; repeat from * to * x 3 times on 1 motif of the pattern, variant – single crochets between motifs. Then, make 1 row of single crochets and make picot of 3 chain sts above 2 chain sts (3 picots for each motif).
Make button-holes and sew the buttons.
