A little bit of purple yarn;
Double-pointedknittingneedles 3;
Crochet hook 2,5;
Auxiliary knitting needles.
Instructions
Cast on 84 sts and turn to circle knitting, divide 21 sts on the knitting needles. Make 12 rows of 1 x 1 rib. Knit 2 sts out of 1 st in the next row. Transfer every increased st to the auxiliary needle – for frillings. Continue the main part with 3 knit sts x 1 purl, increase 1 st on each needle (22 sts on each needle).
After knitting 7 cm, make increase due to the description and transfer the sts to the auxiliary needle. After 3,5 cm of 3 knit sts x 1 purl, start making decreases: 3 sts in every 8th row by means of knit2tog. After making 3,5 cm more, repeat the increase on the frillings and transferring of the sts to the auxiliary needle. Repeat twice with 7 cm of decreases, slip the sts for frillings. You should get 5 frillings. Cut the yarn after the 5th frilling and knit 12 rows of 1 knit st x 1 purl, then, bind off the sts.
Frillings
Knit around with stockinette stitch. Make increases by means of making 2 sts out of 1 st, in every 3rd row, starting from the 2nd row. Divide the sts for increases: for the 1st and 2nd frillings – make them in every 3rd row, i.e. 6 increases; for the 3rd and 4th frillings – in every 3rd row, i.e., 5 increases; for the 5th – in every 3rd row, i.e., 4 increases. Fasten the edge of frillings with single crochets by means of the crochet hook and purple yarn.
