You’ll need:

400g of yarn (54% cotton, 46% polyester; 85m/50g);

Knitting needles 5.

Size: XS; S; M.

Used Patterns

Relief pattern: due to the scheme.

The quantity of sts is multiple of 3 + 2 selvedge sts. Vertical pattern repeat = 8 rows. Make 1 knit st and 3 yarn overs in the 5th row of the scheme. Horizontal pattern is repeated on all the sts between selvedge sts.

Stitches control: 17,5 sts x 20,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

This bolero is sewn from 2 separately made details. The seam is located in the center of back. The direction of work is marked with arrow on the scheme.

Cast on 74 sts with knitting needles 5 and make relief pattern, starting from the 3rd row of the scheme.

After making 152 rows (= 74 cm), i.e. after the 2nd row of the scheme, leave your work.

Make the second detail in the same way.

Assembly

Sew up the 2 parts of bolero with Kitchener stitch. Fold your work in half and make sleeve seams on 31; 29; 27 cm – see the marks on the pattern design.
