You’ll need:

700g of Merino de Luxe yarn (50% wool, 50% polyacryl; 280m/100g);

Knitting needles 3,5;

Crochet hook 3.

Size: M-L.

Used Patterns

2 x 2 rib;

Seed stitch: 1st row: 1 knit st, 1 purl;

2nd row and all the following rows: make purl above knit st, make knit st above purl.

Cross stripe: cast on 58 sts and work in the following way: 1 selvage st, 12 sts of pattern due to the scheme 10.4, 32 sts of pattern due to the scheme 10.1, 12 sts of pattern due to the scheme 10.2, 1 selvage st. Make 90 cm and bind off the sts. Sew the stripe along the short ends. Place the seam along the left side seam of your dress.

Instructions

Back and Front

Knit around to the arm-hole without any side seams. Cast on 176 sts with circle knitting needles, starting from the upper edge of cross stripe, and knit in the following way: 6 sts of seed stitch, * 2nd-11th sts of pattern due to the scheme 10.2, 12 sts of seed stitch*; repeat from * to *, 6 sts of seed stitch. Then, knit around, make even rows of the scheme 10.2 due to the ornament. For waist fitting, decrease 1 st in every 2nd stripe of seed stitch in 17 cm (= 172 sts). In 4 cm, decrease 1 st on the rest stripes (= 168 sts). Increase sts in reversed order in every 4 cm. At 59 cm height from stripe, divide the sts in half (88 sts for each half) and finish both details separately.

Back

Bind off 1 x 3 sts, 2 x 1 st from both sides in every 2nd row for arm-holes (= 78 sts). At 57 cm height from stripe, bind off the central 22 sts for the neck-hole and then, finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row from inwards. At 59 cm height from stripe, bind off 22 sts of shoulder.

Front

Make in the same way, as back. At 52 cm height from the stripe, bind off the central 18 sts for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 2 x 2 sts, 3 x 1 st in every 2nd row from inwards. At 59 cm height from the stripe, bind off 22 sts of shoulder.

Sleeves

Cast on 42 sts and work with rib, increase 1 x 5 sts in every 3 cm from both sides (= 52 sts). In 18 cm, increase 28 sts in WS row and make them as cross knit st from broaching between sts (= 80 sts). Continue in the following way: 1 selvage st with seed stitch, 2 sts of wrong-side pattern, 32 sts with pattern due to the scheme 10.1, 2 sts of wrong-side pattern, 2 sts with seed stitch, 1 selvage st. At 46 cm height from the beginning of row, bind off 1 x 5 sts, 5 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 st in every row from both sides, knit 10 rows straight, bind off 4 x 1 st, 3 x 2 sts, 1 x 3 sts in every 2nd row. At 60 cm height, from the beginning of work, bind off the rest 20 sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. For collar, cast on 22 sts and work with the pattern due to the scheme 10.3. Knit 68 cm and bind off the sts. Sew the collar along the short sides, place seam inside the back neck-hole and sew along the edge of neck-hole. Make side and sleeve seams.
