Used Patterns

2 x 2 rib;

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls, in circle row – only knit sts;

Relief pattern: due to the scheme.

Stitches control: 18 sts of stockinette stitch = 10 cm, 84 sts of the relief pattern = 35 cm.

Instructions

Front and Back

Cast on 208-220-232-244-256-268-280 sts with knitting needles 4 and knit 7-7-8-8-8-9-9 cm around with 2 x 2 rib, after that, turn to knitting needles 5 and continue working around: 10-13-16-19-22-25-28 sts of stockinette stitch, place marker, make 104-110-116-122-128-134-140 sts of back with stockinette stitch.

At 44-45-46-47-48-49-50 cm height, bind off 10 sts from both sides for arm-holes (2 sts from both sides of marker) = 94-100-106-112-118-124-130 sts for front and back. After that, finish each detail separately.

Back

Continue work with stockinette stitch for arm-holes and bind off 2, 2, 1 (2, 2, 1, 1) 2, 2, 1, 1, 1 (2, 2, 1, 1, 1) 2, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1 (2, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1) 2, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 sts in every 2^nd row = 84-88-92-96-100-104-108 sts.

Knit straight until the height of arm-hole is 16-17-18-19-20-21-22 cm. Then, bind off the central 30-32-34-36-38-40-42 sts for the neck-hole line and finish each part separately.

For smooth rounding, bind off 2 sts x 3 in every 2^nd row = 22-23-24-25-26-27-28 sts. At the height of arm-hole is 18-19-20-21-22-23-24 cm, bind off all the sts of shoulder. Make the second half of the detail in the same way.

Front

Continue work due to the ornament, don’t forget to make decreases for arm-holes rounding in the same way, as for back. At the height of arm-hole is 7-7-8-8-8-9-9 cm, bind off the central 18-20-20-22-22-24 sts for the neck-hole, after that, finish each part separately.

For smooth rounding, bind off 4, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1 (4, 2, 2,1, 1, 1) 4, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1 (4, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1) 4, 3, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1 (4, 3, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1) 5, 3, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1 sts in every 2^nd row. Bind off the rest sts at the height of back. Make the second part in the same way.

Sleeves

Cast on 40-40-44-44-48-48-48 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and knit around 7-7-8-8-8-9-9 cm of 2 x 2 rib. Change knitting needles and continue work with stockinette stitch, mark the central 2 sts from the inner side of sleeve and increase 1 st in every 3-2,5-2,5-2-2-2-2 cm х 11-13-13-15-15-17-19 times = 62-66-70-74-78-82-86 sts.

At 43-44-45-46-47-48-49 cm height, bind off the central 5 sts from the inner side and knit straight, don’t forget to bind off 1 st x 2, 2 (2, 2) 2, 2 (2, 2, 2) 2, 2, 2 sts in every 2^nd row. After that, decrease 1 st from both sides in every row until there are 19-21-23-25-27-29-31 sts left on the knitting needles. Bind off 2 st in the beginning of each row, bind off the rest sts.

Assembly

Sew the shoulders cast on the quantity of sts multipled 4 (10 sts for every 5 cm (along the neck-hole) with knitting needles 4. Knit around with 1 row of knit sts, continue with 2 x 2 rib. At the height of placket is 7-7-8-8-8-9-9 cm, bind off all the sts.

Fold the placket in half and sew. Sew the sleeves.
