You’ll need:

9 (10, 11, 12, 13, 15) skeins of middle weight yarn (50% wool, 50% cotton or acryl; 100-110m/50g);

Circle and double-pointed needles 4;

Markers.

Stitches control: 21 sts х 28 rows = 10 х 10 cm (stockinette stitch).

Instructions

Raglan

Make all the decreases in the following way: knit2tog, 1 knit st, transfer marker, 1 knit st, slip 1 st as knit st, 1 knit st, draw it through the slipped st. Place markers between front, back parts and sleeves.

Main Part

Cast on 192 (208, 240, 256, 288, 320) sts, circle them in a ring and make 2 rows of garter stitch, after that, continue work due to the scheme A. 1 (vertical pattern repeat) = 168 (182, 210, 224, 252, 280) sts.

Divide all the sts with markers, separate the frond and back parts (place marker in the beginning of circle row and after 84 (91, 105, 112, 126, 140) sts and continue work with stockinette stitch.

After making 8 cm, decrease 1 st from both sides of marker, repeat the circle row of decreases every 3 cm x 4 = 148 (162, 190, 204, 232, 260) sts. After 26 cm, increase 1 st from both sides of marker, repeat the circle row with increases in 4 (4,5; 4,5; 5; 5; 5,5) cm x 3.

When the height is 41 (42, 43, 44, 45, 46) cm, bind off 4 sts from both sides of marker and leave the rest sts.

Sleeves

Caston 45 (47, 49, 51, 53, 55) stsandcirclethem. Make 2 rows with garter stitch, place marker in the beginning of circle row. After that, make 15 (16, 17, 18, 19, 20) sts of stockinette stitch, 15 sts due to the scheme A. 2 and finish the circle row with knit sts,

Continue work due to the pattern, at the same time, after 8 cm from the 1^st row, increase 1 st from both sides of marker, repeat the circle row in every 3,5 (3; 3; 2,5; 2; 2) cm x 11 (12, 13, 14, 16, 17) times = 69 (73, 77, 81, 87, 91) sts. Knittheincreasedstswithstockinettestitch. After 51 (50, 50, 49, 49, 48) cm from the 1^st row, bind off 4 sts from each side of marker and leave the rest sts.

Make the second sleeve in the same way.

Yoke

Transfer the sts on the circle knitting needles. Divide them with markers. You should get 292 (328, 350, 390, 426) sts. Continue work with relief pattern, start forming raglan line, repeat the circle row of increases in every 2^nd row x 21 (23, 24, 24, 24, 25) times and then x 0 (0, 1, 3, 7) in every row. You should get 102 (108, 128, 134, 150, 170) sts left. Make 4 more circle rows with garter stitch, decrease 7 (7, 23, 25, 37, 53) sts in the 1^st row. Bind off all the sts.

Assembly

Sew the sleeves to the main part.
