Work due to the scheme. Pattern repeat = 14 sts.

1^st and 2^nd rows are set-up rows. The colors of yarn are stated as X and Y.

Cast on the sts with Y yarn and work due to the following description:

1^st row (X): 1 selvedge st as knit st, * 3 knit sts, slip 1 st, yarn behind work, 6 knit sts, slip 1 st, yarn behind work, 3 knit sts*, 1 selvedge st, slip 1 st, yarn behind work;

2^nd row (X): 1 selvedge st as purl, 1 purl, leave the slipped sts without knitting, yarn in front of work, 1 selvedge st, slip 1 st, yarn in front of work;

3^rd row (Y): 1 selvedge st as knit st, slip 3 sts to the auxiliary needle behind work, 1 knit st, knit the sts from the auxiliary needle (2 knit sts, slip 1 st, yarn behind work), 6 knit sts, slip 1 st behind work, knit 3 sts: slip 1 st, yarn behind work, 2 knit sts, slipped st as knit st*, 1 selvedge st, yarn behind work;

4^th row (Y): 1 selvedge st as purl, * purl, leave the slipped sts without knitting, yarn in front of work*, slip 1 selvedge st, yarn in front of work;
