Soutache Evening Earrings
You'll need:
Braid (soutache);
Beads;
"Drops" beads;
Cabochon;
Needle;
Thread;
Scissors;
Lighter;
Felt;
Suede cloth.
Instructions
Glue the cabochon to the felt and bead it using the mosaic braiding technique.
Cut off the exces of felt.
Cut three pieces of soutache and sew them around the cabochon, threading the needle exactly in the center of the lace.
At the junction of the ends of the lace, sew the bead, and connect the ends themselves with several stitches.
Bend the ends of the braid and sew.
Insert the bead and sew the ends to the wrong side.
Cut off the odds, fire with a lighter.
Also process the ends from the second side.
Cut a couple of pieces of braid and sew them to the end, wrapped on the wrong side.
Likewise, make on the second side of the workpiece.
In the center, flash a bead and bend the ends.
Sew a bead on each side.
Of the three pieces of soutache, perform the top of the earring
Bend the ends and flash them, insert the bead.
The ends are trimmed and scorched.
At the bottom, fix the drop-shaped bead.
Attach to fix the ear hook.
