Used Patterns
Rib, knitting needles 4: the quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 2 selvage sts.
RS rows: 1 selvage st, 1 knit st, * 2 purls, 2 knit sts*; repeat from * to *, 2 purls, 1 knit st, 1 selvage st.
WS rows: as sts face.
Fans pattern, crochet hook 5: the quantity of sts is multiple 8 + 1 + 1 chain st increase. Work due to the scheme, on which both RS and WS rows are stated. This pattern starts with 1 WS row. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-4th rows x once, then, repeat 3rd-4th rows.
Structured pattern, crochet hook 12 (work in 6 threads of yarn): single crochets, start every row with 1 chain st increase instead of the 1st single crochet and finish with 1 single crochet in chain st increase of the previous row.
Stitches control: fans pattern: 18 sts x 8 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Structured pattern: 8 sts x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back
Make 73 (81) 89 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with fans pattern. For arm-holes, don’t finish 1 pattern repeat (= 4,5 cm) from both sides in 20 cm = 16 rows from the set-up row and continue work above the rest sts. In 36 cm = 29 rows (37,5 cm = 30 rows) 40 cm = 32 rows from the set-up row, finish your work, the central 14 (18) 22 cm form neck-hole, outer 9 cm from both sides – shoulders.
Front
Make in the same way, as back, but in 28,5 cm = 23 rows (30 cm = 24 rows) 32,5 cm = 26 rows, don’t finish the central 3 (4) 5 pattern repeats for neck-hole, continue making the last st of the 3rd (4th) 5th pattern repeat as selvage st and finish each side separately. Sleeves
Make 57 (65) 73 chain sts + 1 chain st increase for each sleeve and work with fans pattern. In 32,5 cm = 26 rows from the set-up row, finish your work.
Assembly
Cast on 50 (58) 66 sts with knitting needles 4 for lower plackets of front and back and work with rib pattern. In 14 cm, bind off all sts of plackets as sts face. For sleeve plackets, cast on 42 (46) 50 sts along set-up row edges and work with rib pattern. In 12 cm, bind off all sts of lower plackets of sleeves as sts face. Make shoulder seams. Sew up the sleeves. Make side and sleeve seams. Fasten neck-hole with 1 circle row of single crochets and 1 circle row of “shrimp stitch”.
