1 ball each White, Lt. Yellow and Kelly Green.
Steel crochet hook No. 7.

FRONT: With White ch 6, join to form a ring, ch 1 and work 8 s c in ring, join in 1st s c.
2nd Round. Ch 4 (counts as part of 1st popcorn st), 4 tr c in same space, slip loop off hook, insert in 4th st of ch, pull loop through, * ch 3, popcorn st in next s c (popcorn st: 5 tr c in same st, drop loop from hook, insert in 1st tr c, pull loop through), repeat from * all around, ch 3, join in 1st popcorn st.
3rd Round. Ch 4, popcorn st in same space, ch 3, popcorn st in next loop, ch 3, * popcorn st in next popcorn st, ch 3, popcorn st in next loop, ch 3, repeat from * all around, join in 1st popcorn st.
4th Round. Ch 4, popcorn st in same space, ch 2, popcorn st in next loop, ch 2, * popcorn st in next popcorn st, ch 2, popcorn st in next loop, ch 2, repeat from * all around, join in 1st popcorn st.
5th Round. Ch 1, s c in same space, s c in next loop, * s c in next popcorn st, s c in next loop, repeat from * all around, join in 1st s c, cut thread.
6th Round. Attach Yellow in same space, ch 3 (counts as part of 1st d c popcorn st), 4 d c in same space, drop loop from hook, insert in 3rd st of ch, pull loop through, * ch 3, skip 1 s c, d c popcorn st in next s c (d c popcorn st: 5 d c in same space, drop loop from hook, insert in 1st d c, pull loop through), repeat from * all around, ch 3, join in 1st popcorn st, cut thread.
7th Round. Attach White in same space, s c in same space, 3 s c in next loop, * s c in next popcorn st, 3 s c in next loop, repeat from * all around, join in 1st s c, cut thread.

Attach Green in same space, ch 4, popcorn st in same space (all popcorn sts are worked with tr c unless otherwise stated), * ch 2, skip 3 s c, popcorn st in next s c, ch 2, skip 1 s c, popcorn st in next s c, ch 2, skip 1 s c, pop­corn st in next s c, repeat from * all around, ending to cor­respond, join in 1st popcorn st.
9th and 10th Rounds. Sl st into loop, ch 4, popcorn st in same space, ch 3, * popcorn st in next loop, ch 3, repeat from * all around, join in 1st popcorn st, cut thread at end of last round.
11th Round. Same as 7th round.
12th Round. With Yellow work in same manner as 8th round but work d c popcorn sts, cut thread.
13th Round. Attach White and work 3 s c in each loop, join, cut thread.
14th Round. Attach Yellow in center s c of any 3 s c group, ch 3, d c popcorn st in same space, ch 3, * d c popcorn st in center s c of next s c group, ch 3, repeat from * all around, join, cut thread.

BACK: With White ch 6, join to form a ring, ch 3 and work 15 d c in ring, join in 3rd st of ch.
2nd Round. Ch 3 (counts as 1 d c), d c in same space, 2 d c in each remaining d c, join in 3rd st of ch.
3rd Round. Ch 3, 2 d c in next d c, * d c in next d c, 2 d c in next d c, repeat from * all around, join in 3rd st of ch.
4th Round. Working in d c increase in every 3rd st, join.
5th Round. Increase in every 4th st, join, cut thread.
6th Round. Attach Yellow, ch 3, 1 d c in each of the next 3 d c, 2 d c in next d c, * 1 d c in each of the next 4 d c, 2 d c in next d c, repeat from * all around, join, cut thread.
7th Round. Attach White and work 1 s c in each d c, join, cut thread.
8th Round. Attach Green, ch 3, 1 d c in each of the next 4 s c, 2 d c in next s c, * 1 d c in each of the next 5 s c, 2 d c in next s c, repeat from * all around, join.
9th Round. Working in d c increase in every 7th st, join.
10th Round. Increase in every 8th st, join.
11th Round. Ch 3 and work 1 d c in each d c, join, cut thread.
12th Round. Same as 7th round.
13th Round. Attach Yellow and working in d c increase in every 12th st, join, cut thread.
14th Round. Attach White and work 1 s c in each d c, join, cut thread.
15th Round. Attach Yellow, ch 3 and work 1 d c in each s c, join.
16th Round. S c in same space, * ch 2, skip 1 d c, s c in next d c, repeat from * 4 times, ch 2, skip 2 d c, s c in next d c, repeat from 1st * all around, ending with sl st in 1st s c, cut thread (72 loops).
Crochet the 2 sections together having the wrong sides facing each other. With right side of front section toward you attach White in any loop, ch 1 and work 3 s c in each loop, join in 1st s c.
Next Round. Sl st in each st, join, cut thread. With White cover a bone ring with s c and attach to potholder as illus­trated.
