Crochet Tiny Sunflower

Materials:
Use any yarn and a suitable hook. I used sport weight yarns in yellow and brown and a 3 mm crochet hook
Stitches/Abbreviations:
** - Repeat instructions within asterisks as many times as directed
st/sts - stitch/stitches
sl st - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
InstructionRound 4: Sl st in next sc, sc in 5 sts moving up the petal, picot (ch 3, sl st in 1st ch) at the top of petal, sc in 5 sts coming down the petal, sl st in 2 sc. Repeat around. Join with a sl st to the beginning of round and cut off yarn. Weave in all the loose ends.
The flower needs blocking to straighten the petals that would otherwise curl inwards.
