8 mm (L-11) crochet hook or size to obtain a gauge.

10 half double crochets and 9 rows = 4 x 4 inches (10 x 10 cm) using a 8 mm hook.

Instructions:
Foundation - Chain 150
Row 1 - Hdc in 2nd ch from hk, hdc in each st across, turn. 148 hdc
Row 2 - Ch1, hdc-blo in 1st st, hdc-blo in each st across, turn. 148 hdc
Rows 3 - 13 - repeat row 2.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew the ends together.

Note: when joining the scarf ends make sure that the scarf lays as one flat piece and is not twisted.
