- Size 6.5mm crochet hook

- Worsted weight 5 yarn (softer yarn is preferable)

- Yarn needle (to weave in ends)

If you wish a bigger scarf you can up the hook size to get a looser hang.

Stitches and Abbreviations:

ch = chain

dc = double crochet

Pattern:

Row 1: magic circle, ch 34. dc in third ch from hook. *ch 1 skip 1 ch, dc. repeat from *across. ch 2 turn.

Row 2: (For this row, we will not be working in the loops you would normally, but instead into the space between the stitches on your last row, this helps the scart be softer and more stretchy, image below) *dc 1 into space between stitches, ch1. Repeat from * across. ch 2 turn.

Rows 3-40: Repeat row 2.

Row 41: fold the scarf so your working edge is aligned with your end. sc across, through both layers to join them together. Weave in ends.
