4.5mm hook
Yarn: Bernat Mosaic, Medium 4, Colour 'Budgie'. (2+balls)

Skill Level:
Medium. This pattern mostly uses a mix of double crochets and front post double crochets, creating a layered look.

Gauge:

Approximately 6 rows = 2 inches
Approximately 5 sts = 2 inches

Special Abbreviations:

Ch = Chain.
Hdc = Half double crochet.
Fpdc = Front post double crochet.
Ea = Each.
St(s) = Stitch(es).
Dc = Double crochet.
Ss = Slip stitch.
Measures Approximately 60 inches around.
Note: Pay attention to the rows you are working in.
Do not fpdc over ch 2's.

Scarf
Row 1:
Ch 158. Hdc in 3rd ch from hook. Hdc in ea st across. (157sts)
Row 2:
Ch 2. Turn. Fpdc in ea st across. (157sts)
Row 3:
Ch 2. Turn. Now working in top of row 1 sts. Dc in ea st across. (157sts)
Row 4:
Ch 2. Turn. Fpdc in ea st across. (157sts)
Row 5:
Ch 2. Turn. Now working in top of row 3 sts. Dc in ea st across. (157sts)
Row 6:
Ch 2. Turn. Fpdc in ea st across. (157sts)
Row 7:
Ch 2. Turn. Now working in top of row 5 sts. Dc in ea st across. (157sts)
Row 8:
Ch 2. Turn. Fpdc in ea st across. (157sts)
Row 9:
Ch 2. Turn. Now working in top of row 7 sts. Dc in ea st across. (157sts)
Row 10:
Ch 2. Turn. Fpdc in ea st across. (157sts) Fasten off.
Pin scarf together end to end to make a large ring. Line up your stitches. Carefully sew together.

Cuff
Row 1:
Ch 6. Hdc in 3rd ch from hook. Hdc in ea st across.
Rows 2-10:
Ch 2. Turn. Hdc in ea st across.
Wrap cuff around scarf at same location you had sewn scarf together. Evenly Ss to join 2 ends of the cuff together. Fasten off. Add buttons if desired (or add a few stitches to hold cuff in its place).
