Yarn – You can use any DK weight yarn for this pattern. If you choose to use any other weights, make sure to use similar weights for both sections (1 and 2).
Stylecraft Bellissima DK, #3 (100% Acrylic, 293 yards / 286 meters per 3.5 oz/100g skein).

With the Main color
Round 1: In a MR, 6 sc. 6 sc
Place stitch marker and move it after every round. Do not join.
Round 2: 2 sc in each st. 12 sc
Round 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st. 18 sc
Round 4: sc, *2 sc, sc in next 2 sts, rep from * 4 times, 2 sc, sc. 24 sc
Round 5: *2 sc, sc in next 3 sts, rep from * 5 more times. 30 sc
Round 6: sc in next 2 sts, *2 sc, sc in next 4 sts, rep from * 4 more times, 2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts. 36 sc
Round 7: *2 sc, sc in next 5 sts, rep from 5 more times. 42 sc
Rounds 8-15: sc around. 42 sc
Round 16: *Inv dec, sc in next 5 sts, rep from * 5 more times. 36 sc

Stuff your loosely the bauble.
Round 20: *Inv dec 1, sc in next st, rep from * 4 more times. 12 sc

Fasten off, leaving a long tail.
Close the top of the bauble by threading the yarn through the last 6 sts, going from the center out.
Weave in your ends.

each ch around, join. 32 hdc

Round 4: Ch 7, *sc in next ch sp, ch 6, rep from * to the end, sc in last ch sp, join with a sl st to the first chain. 8 ch sps, 9 sc

Secure all the ch sps with a stitch marker.
Leave about 5” of yarn for handle sewing and cut off excess yarn.
Pass the crochet hook through the chain spaces gathered with the stitch marker.
Handle
Chain 6, sl st to the other side of the chain space.
Sew in all the ends.
