RND 2: Join white in same st as slst. Ch3. dc in next dc. (Tr, ch3, tr in beginning ring of rnd 1, behind ch3 sp.) *Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Rep bet (). Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Fasten off white.
RND 3: Join red in same st as slst. Ch3. Dc in next dc. Dc in next tr. [Dc in ch3 sp of rnd 2. (Tr, ch3, tr in ch3 sp of rnd 1 behind ch3sp of rnd 2.) Dc in ch3 sp of rnd 2.] *Dc in each of the next 4 sts. Rep bet [ ]. Rep from * around. Dc in last st. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Fasten off red.

This square can be done in all one color. Just do not fasten off. Just continue as the instructions are written. That is why I wrote it so you join the new color where you fasten off.
