Materials: Worsted Weight 4-ply Yarn, 2 oz. Natural, 1/2 oz. Pink;
F hook; tapestry needle

Gauge: 9 sc = 2 inches; 9 rows = 2 inches.

Cover
Row 1: Using Natural, ch 19; sc in 2nd ch from hook and in ea ch across, ch 1, turn. (18).

Rows 2-9: Sc in ea sc across, ch 1, turn. (18).

Row 10: Sc in next 5 sc, ch 8, skip 8 sc (tissue opening), sc in next 5 sc, ch 1, turn.

Row ll: Sc in next 5 sc, sc in ea of next 8 ch, sc in next 5 sc, ch 1, turn. (18).

Rows 12-19: Repeat Row 2

At end of Row 19, ch 1, do not turn.

Rnd 20: Working in ends of rows and in ea sc, sc around outer edge of top, making 3 sc in corners; join to first sc. (80).

Do not turn.

Rnd 21: Working in Back Loops only, sc in ea sc around; join with a sl st to first sc, turn. (80).

Rnds 22-46: (or length to bottom of tissue cover)

Ch 1, sc in ea sc around, join, turn. (80). Fasten off.

Top Trim: With top of tissue cover facing you, join Pink with a sc in any free loop left from Rnd 21; 3 sc in same loop, skip next st, sl st in next st, skip next st, (4 sc in next st, skip next st, sl st in next st, skip next st) around; join with a sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Bottom Trim: With top of tissue cover facing you, join
Pink with a sc in any Front Loop only of any st of Rnd 46; working Front Loops only, repeat Top Trim. Fasten off.

Heart
Row 1: With Pink, ch 2, 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook, ch 1, turn. (3).

Rows 2 & 3: 2 sc in first sc, sc in ea sc across to last sc, 2 sc in last sc, ch 1, turn. (5,7).

Row 4: Sc in ea sc across, ch 1, turn. (7).

Row 5: Repeat Row 2 (9).

Row 6: Repeat Row 4 (9).

Rnd 7: Sc in first sc, 2 hdc in next sc, 3 dc in next sc, hdc in next sc, sl st in next sc, hdc in next sc, 3 dc in next sc, 2 hdc in next sc, sc in last sc, do not turn;

Ch 1, sc in ends of each row around to opposite end of Rnd 7, working 3 sc in point; sl st in first st of Rnd 7.

Fasten off, leaving length for sewing. Place crochet cover over tissue box. Using tapestry needle, sew heart to front of cover over Rows 29-40.
