How To Crochet Amigurumi Heart

Make a magic ring.

Round 1: Ch 1, 6 sc inside of the magic ring. 6 sc

Place a stitch marker in the last stitch and move after every round.

Round 2: 2 sc in each st around. 12 sc

Round 3: *sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, rep from * around. 18 sc

Round 4: *sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st, rep from * around. 24 sc

Rounds 5 – 6: sc in each st around. 24 sc

Fasten off, make the second, and continue to round 7 without fastening off.

Join parts in the next round.

Pick up one of the pieces.

Round 7: sc in next 24 sts, pick up the next second piece, sc in next 24 sts. 48 sc

Rounds 8 – 10: sc in each st around. 48 sc

  • Apply glue to the skewer tip, just enough to get into the middle of the heart.
  • Pass the skewer through the remaining stitches and into the heart. Be mindful of the glue on the tip so it doesn’t rub off on the outside of the heart.

Finishing off your heart

Wrap the remaining yarn around the skewer and secure the yarn’s tip with glue to the skewer.

Weave in the remaining stitches with a darning needle.
