- 1 Country Garden #167 Peaches & Crème by Elmore-Pisgah, Inc.
- 1 Hunter green hand towel, cut and hemmed
- 2 - 1 1/8” buttons
- 1 G hook
Instructions
Row 1: With cream, ch 9 to form ring.
Row 2: Ch 1, 6sc in ring, Turn. DO NOT JOIN.
Row 3-6: Ch 1, 1sc in each sc, turn.
Row 7: Ch 2, 1 dc in same place, 1 dc in each of next 2 sc, 2 dc in next sc, 1 dc in next sc, 2 dc in next sc. Turn. (9 dc, beg ch 2 counts as 1 dc.)
Row 8 (Front): Ch 2, FPS around next dc, 1 dc in next dc across. Turn. (4 posts & 5 dc)
Row 9 (Back): Ch 2, BPS around post stitch, 1 dc in next dc across. Turn. (4 posts & 5 dc)
Row 10: Repeat row 8.
Row 11: Repeat row 9.
Row 12: Ch 2, 1 FPS around next post stitch, 2 dc, FPS around next post stitch across. Turn. (4 posts, with 2 dc between each post)
Row 13: Ch 2, BPS around next post stitch, 2 dc, BPS around next post stitch across. Turn. (4 posts & 8 dc)
Row 14: Ch 2, FPS around next post stitch, 3 dc, FPS around next post stitch across. Turn. (4 posts & 11 dc)
Row 15: Ch 2, BPS around next post stitch, 3 dc, BPS around next post stitch across. Turn. (4 posts & 11 dc)

Row 26: With right side (posts) facing you, attach Country Gardens to first dc of row 25, Ch 1, sc in same place, 5 dc in top of first post stitch, skip 2 dc, sc in next dc, skip 2 dc, 5 dc in top of next post stitch across. Working on the other side now, sc across to the beginning (chain 9) of row 1, work 9 sc around the unworked part of the chain. Work down the other side of topper with sc; join with slip stitch to beg ch 1 of row 26. Fasten off. Sew button on row 14. Hand sew towel topper to towel, leaving shell edge free.
Repeat for second towel.
