Materials:

A cro­chet hook (size may vary based on your pref­er­ence), worsted weight yarn in dif­fer­ent col­ors, and a tapes­try nee­dle. You can choose tra­di­tion­al col­ors like red and white for a clas­sic can­dy cane look or use your cre­ative col­or scheme.

Pattern:

Row 1: F hook, ch 10, sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, 2sctog in the last two chains, Turn

Row 2: ch 1, All in the back loops, 2sctog decrease, sc in each sc across, 2sctog in the last two stitch­es, Turn

Row 3: ch 1, All in the back loops, 2sctog decrease, sc in each sc across, 2sc increase in the last two stitch­es, Turn

Row 4: All in the back loops, Add new col­or with sl st, ch 1, 2sc increase, sc in each sc across, 2sctog decrease, Turn

Row 5: ch 1, All in the back loops, 2sctog decrease, sc in each sc across, 2sc increase in the last two stitch­es, Turn

Add new col­or, so you will have green, red, green, red, then green. **Repeat Rows 4–5 for each col­or; there will be 5 col­or changes with the two rows of Row 4 and 5.

Take the cor­ner and match it to the oth­er cor­ner, and sl st the sides togeth­er.

Take the ends, yarn with nee­dle and weave it in and out when you sow. Then pull it closed on both sides.

Turn it inside out, stuff it, then sow up the oth­er side the same way.

Sides: Make 2, ch 4, work 8 dc in the first chain, ch 1, sew both of them on each end. Fas­ten off and Weave in your ends.
