Lower Body

Row 3: Ch 2, hdc in next st, *fpdc around next st, hdc in each of next 2 sts, rep from * across, turn.

Row 5: Ch 2, hdc in next st, *fpdc around fpdc 2 rows below, hdc in each of next 2 sts, rep from * across, turn.
Rep rows 4 and 5 alternately until piece measures approximately 22 inches long, ending with a rep of row 4.
Neck & Shoulder Shaping
Left Neck & Shoulder
Row 1: Work Lower Body row 5 over first 20 [26, 32] sts, turn leaving rem sts unworked. (20 [26, 32] sts)
Rep Lower Body rows 4 and 5 alternately until shoulder measures approximately 6 inches long, ending with a rep of row 5. Fasten off.
Right Neck & Shoulder
With RS facing, sk next unworked 22 sts on Front. Join (see Pattern Notes) yarn in next st. Work Lower Body row 5 across rem sts. (20 [26, 32] sts)
Rep Lower Body rows 4 and 5 until shoulder measures approximately 6 inches long, ending with a rep of row 5. Fasten off.
BACK
Work rows 1-5 of Front. Rep rows 4 and 5 alternately until piece measures approximately 28 inches long, ending with a rep of row 4. Fasten off.
With RS tog, sew Front Shoulders to Back.
COWL
Note: Cowl is worked with WS facing so that RS of sts will show when folded over for wearing.
