Materials

  • Monaco mercerized cotton 5ply /fingering weight
  • 2mm hook
  • Scissor
  • Yarn Needle
  • Plastic snap/snap plier
  • Key chain/connector
  • Plier

Special Stitch.

Picot - [Ch 3, sc on the 1st ch, sc on the next st.)
Rw 1
Make a slip knot and ch 20, Sc on the 2nd ch from hook,
and sc on the remaining chs(19sc)
Ch 1 & turn.
Rw 2
Sc 18 on the 18 sts. 2sc on the last st.(20)
Ch 1 & turn.
Rw 3
2 sc on the first st. 1 sc on the rest of the sts (21)
Ch 1 & turn.
Rw 4
20 sc on the next 20 sts. 2 sc on the last(22)
Ch1 & turn.
Rw 5
2sc on the same st, 1 sc on the rest of the sts (23)
Ch1 & turn.
Rw 6
Sc on the next 22 sts, 2 sc on the last st. (24)
Ch1 & turn.
Rw 7
2sc on the same st, 1 sc on the rest of the sts (25)
Ch1 & turn.
Rw 8
Sc on the next 22 sts, 2 sc on the last st. (26)
Ch1 & turn.

Just start dec. in every row

until you reach 19 sc sts.only.

Picot
[picot,3sc,] repeat [**] 6x

Continue 18 sc down across
Note : it should be 19 sts on each side.
On the bottom, make 22sc,
Now we're going to work on the top part of the wallet
Rw 1
Working from bottom to top, skip 1 st. Sc on the next st.
(one loop only, back part)
Sc on the next 16 back loop.
Leaving 2 sts. before picot. (17sc) turn.
Rw 2
(do not ch 1)
Sc 17,(add 2 sts on the bottom) sc 2 in 1 loop only
Turn.
Rw 3
Skip 2 sts. 17 sc, turn.
Repeat rw 2 and 3 until the end of the stitches.
Making 23 rows of 17 sc


Once you're done with the top,
time to close it on the otherside.
Reverse the wallet and we will going to close it, using sc.
Working on the sides. insert hook on both loops of the front.
Then insert hook on the back loops only of the back.
Sc across.
When you're done , just cut the yarn and weave ends
I used plastic snap for the button,
You can also use metal snap if you dont have available plastic snap
Also i insert a key chain holder on the side,
