Crochet Pocket Cats

MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED:

• 2 Colors Medium Weight (4) yarn *I used Lily Sugar n’ Cream Cotton* (Scraps will work, you don’t need much)
• Size 4.25mm Crochet Hook
• Tapestry Needle & Scissors
• Felt (optional)
• Craft/Felt/Hot Glue (optional) *Any of these options will suffice*

Magic circle, sc 8 into circle, join with sl st, ch 1 (pull circle tight)

Sc into the same stitch you joined to, 2 sc into next st and alternate 1 sc, 2sc into each st around (13sc)

Join, ch 1, sc into the same space you joined into, 2sc into next, 1 sc into 3rd st, 2 sc into 4th, 1 sc into 5th, 2sc into 6th, 1 sc into 7th, 2 sc into 8th, 1 sc into 9th

Now we start the ears! (1 sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 1hdc, 1sc) into 10th, 1 slip stitch into 11th & 12, (1 sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 1hdc, 1sc) into 13th, join with sl st, weave in ends!

Sew on whiskers as you like with your contrasting color & glue to felt if you’d like! Once the glue is dry you can cut around the new kitty face and even add a pin to the back if you’d like!
