You will need:

Yarn (50% wool, 50% acrylic, 250 m/100 g) - 40 g of red, 60 g of white.

Crochet hook No. 2.

White beads.

Work Description

Start with a red thread, chain 5 air loops, and close into a ring. Crochet 12 double crochet stitches into the center of the ring.

Continue crocheting according to Diagram 1, then crochet 8 rows without increasing. Next, continue with the white thread for another 8 rows. Then, for the thumb hole, leave 12 stitches unworked and above them, crochet a chain of 12 air loops (see Diagram 2). Continue crocheting 6 - 7 rows of double crochet stitches, then follow Diagram 3.

Attach the thread at the thumb hole. Crochet 2 rows of double crochet stitches. Then, crochet 3 rows, decreasing 4 stitches evenly in each row. Continue with 3 rows straight. In the next row, crochet 2 stitches together as double crochet stitches. Finish crocheting the thumb with single crochet stitches, skipping every other stitch. Tighten and secure the remaining stitches.

Ruffle: Attach the thread between the red and white parts of the mitten and crochet according to Diagram 3 (but use double crochet stitches instead of half-double crochet stitches). Sew on the beads as shown in the photo.
