Crochet Hook: 5mm [US H-8].
2 buttons, 1” (25mm) diameter, yarn needle.
NOTE: Cape is worked in 2 panels.
CAPE
Panel A
With A, ch 30.
Row 1: Working in back loops only, tr in 4th ch hook and each ch across.
Rows 2-48: Ch 4 (counts as tr here and throughout), turn, tr in each tr across– 27 tr. Fasten off.
Panel B
With B, make as for Panel A.
FINISHING
– With wrong sides together, hold one long edge of each Panel together, join B in first st and working through both layers, sc evenly spaced along edges of rows to join Panels. Fasten off.
– Sew buttons on right side of Panel A 7” (18 cm) from one short end.
– Weave in ends.
