Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn: Blue – 2 oz, 100 yds (60 g, 92 m) Multicolor – ½ oz, 25 yds (15 g, 23 m) (Peaches & Crème – Bright Blue, Butter Cream)

Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)

JOINING WITH SC

When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

TO CHANGE COLORS

Work last stitch before color change to last step, with new color yo and pull new color through remaining loops on hook. Drop unused color to wrong side. Do not work over unused color.

Special Stitches

Single Crochet Decrease: (sc dec): Draw up a lp in each of next 2 sts, yo and draw through 3 lps on hook.

DISHCLOTH:

Row 1: (Right Side) Starting with cuff, using Blue, ch 20, dc in back ridge of 4th ch from hook (skipped ch count as first dc), [dc in back ridge of next ch] across. (18 dc)

Rows 2-7: Ch 3, turn, working in back loops only, [dc in next dc] across. (18 dc)

At the end of Row 7, DO NOT FINISH OFF.

Row 1: With right side facing, working in side of rows over dc-sts, ch 1, [2 sc in each row] across, sc in first ch (of starting ch). (15 sc) DO NOT FINISH OFF.

Foot

Row 1: Ch 13, turn (wrong side facing), sc in 2nd ch from hook (mark this ch), [sc in next ch] across, working in Row 1, sc in next 8 sc; change color to Multicolor, with Multicolor, sc in next 7 sc. (27 sc)

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in first sc, sc in next 6 sc, change color to Blue, with Blue, [sc in next sc] across. (28 sc)

Row 3: Ch 1, turn, sc in first 3 sc, hdc in next 13 sc, sc in next 4 sc, change color to Multicolor, with Multicolor, sc in next 7 sc, 2 sc in last sc. (29 sts)

Row 4: Ch 1, turn, sc in first 9 sc, change color, with Blue, [sc in next sc] across. (29 sc)

Row 5: Ch 1, turn, sc in first 20 sc, change color, with Mulitcolor, sc in next 7 sc, sc dec. (28 sc)

Row 6: Ch 1, turn, sc dec (over first 2 sc), sc in next 6 sc, change color, with Blue, sc in next 5 sc, hdc in next 3 sc, dc in next 12 sc. (27 sts)

Row 7: Ch 2 (counts as first hdc now and throughout), turn, hdc in next 11 dc, sc in next 8 sts, change color, with Multicolor, sc in last 7 sc. (27 sts)

Row 8: Ch 1, turn, skip first sc, sc in next 6 sc, change color, with Blue, sc in next 5 sc, [hdc in next st] across. (26 sts)

Row 9: Ch 2, turn, hdc in next 12 hdc, sc in next 7 sts, change color, with Multicolor, sc in next 4 sc, sc dec. (25 sts)

Row 10: Ch 2, turn, hdc in next 4 sc, change color, with Blue, hdc in next 13 sts, [sc in next st] across. (25 sts) Finish off and weave in ends.

Toe

Row 1: With wrong side facing, join Multicolor with sc to marked ch, working in side of rows, sc in next 5 rows, 2 sc in next (dc) row, sc in next 4 rows. (12 sc)

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across (12 sc)

Rows 3-6: Ch 1, turn, sc dec, [sc in next sc] across to last 2 sc, sc dec. (10, 8, 6, 4 sc)

At the end of Row 6, finish off and weave in ends.
