​Lilac Knit Dress

You’ll need:

600g of lilac yarn with nylon content;

100g of lurex yarn in the same color;

Knitting needles 3,5 and 4;

Circle knitting needles 3,5;

1 button.

Instructions

At first, make pattern design in natural size due to pic. 25, make a sample with garter stitch and define the tension.

Start your work with yoke and knit to down. For this, cast on the needed quantity of sts with lurex yarn (alternate it with the main yarn) and make 3 rows of garter stitch with turning rows. Continue work with lurex yarn with “corners” pattern due to the scheme 25.

Note: Only RS rows are stated on the schemes, make WS rows due to the ornament.

After finishing the pattern repeat due to the scheme 25, connect your work and knit around in the following way: 3 rows of garter stitch, 10 rows with net pattern due to the scheme 25a with lurex yarn, 10 rows with the pattern due to the scheme 25b with lurex yarn. Then, start forming raglan lines due the pattern design, work with the main yarn with stockinette stitch. At arm-holes, transfer the sts of sleeves to the auxiliary needle, divide your work into 6 equal parts, mark the borders of side seams, front and back gores with contrast yarn and knit front and back around, making decreases along these borders to the waist line. Make increases by means of broachings from the waist. Bind off the sts at the needed length of your work.

Take off the contrast yarn, cast on the open sts of the right sleeve with circle knitting needles and work, making decreases due to the pattern design. At 29 cm height from the raglan line, bind off the sts. Make left sleeve in the same way. Sew the button.
