You’ll need:

100% cotton yarn (530 m/100g);

Crochet hook 1, 25.

Head circumference: 53-54 см.

Instructions

Bottom and Base

Make 8 chain sts for the bottom and continue work due to the scheme, on which double crochets and chain sts are stated.

After finishing the scheme. continue increasing bottom diameter – make 2 double crochets in the 1st crochet of the lower row, 1 double crochet, 2 sts above chain sts, i.e., you should get 12 crochets in the motif between chain sts.

Then, make 14 rows due to the scheme 2, displacing the pattern to 1 st – 2 double crochets in the 1st crochet, don’t crochet the edging st. So, you should have 12 crochets with 2 chain sts between motifs left.

Make 4 rows of fastening by means of half double crochets.

Visor

Now, let’s turn to making the visor with half double crochets due to the scheme and in 2 threads yarn.

You can make bigger visor by means of making extra row.

After making 9th and 10th row, repeat these rows one more time, after that, make 9th and 10th rows again, but with some changes – make extra increases in the 9th row: * 2 half double crochets in 1 st, 5 half double crochets* x 4 times from each side. After that, finish visor with the 12th row.

Assembly

Attach the visor to the base by means of single crochets.

Then, make hearts due to the scheme below and sew them to the ball cap.

After that, you need to fasten the visor with 2 threads of yarn with, using forward needle seam, alternating the colors.

Fasten the inwards seam. Weave in all the ends.

Fasten the bottom of the cap with half double crochets with red yarn.
