You’ll need:

100g of red mélange yarn (65% viscose, 35% linen; 115m/50g);

Crochet hook 4,5.


Head circumference: 54-56 cm.


Used Patterns

Pattern for placket: work with half-crochets in circle row, start every circle row with 2 chain sts increase instead of the 1st half-crochet and finish with 1 slip st in the 2nd chain st increase.

Fans pattern, circle rows: the quantity of sts is multiple 6. Work due to the scheme 2. Start every row with 3 chain sts instead of the 1st double crochet and finish with 1 slip st in the 3rd chain st. Repeatpattern. Make 1st-7throwsxonce, then, repeat 2nd-7throws.


Stitches control: pattern for placket: 18 sts x 7 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Fans pattern: 16 sts x 14 rows = 10 x 10 cm.


Instructions

For placket, make 86 chain sts and circle them in the ring with 1 slip st. Then, work with pattern for placket. In 5 cm = 7 circle rows from the set-up row, continue work with fans pattern with circle rows, start with the 3rd circle row of fans pattern, make 126 sts in the 1st circle row = 21 pattern repeat. In 11,5 cm = 8 circle rows from placket, start making decreases for hat rounding. For this, work only with double crochets. Start every circle row with 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1st double crochet and finish with 1 slip st in the 3rd chain st increase.

9th circle row: 2 double crochets together (63 sts);

10th circle row: 63 double crochets;

11th circle row: * 2 double crochets, 2 double crochets together*; repeat from * to *, 3 double crochets (48 sts);

12th circle row: * 1 double crochet, 2 double crochets together*; repeat from * to * (32 sts);

13th circle row: 2 double crochets (16 sts);

14th circle row: as the 13th circle row (8 sts).

Draw working yarn through upper double crochets, sew the end on WS of hat.
