How to Crochet a Bolero for 4-5 Year Olds Using Mercerized Cotton



You’ll Need:
100g of white yarn (95% mercerized cotton, 5% methanite; 330m/100g);
Crochet hook 1.9.
Size:
4-5 years.
Note:
Start your work as one-piece cloth. Make a chain of 60 cm long and work according to scheme 1 for 10 cm. After that, divide stitches in the following way: 15 cm for each half of the front and 30 cm for the back. Then, finish each side separately.
Instructions
Back
Bind off 1.5 pattern repeats open from both sides for arm-holes. Crochet 10 cm in height.
Right Front
Bind off 1.5 pattern repeats open from the right side for the arm-hole. Crochet 9 cm in height. For the neck-hole, bind off 2 pattern repeats open from the left side. Work on the remaining stitches according to scheme 1 for 2 more rows.
Left Front
Make in symmetry to the right front.
Sleeves
Make shoulder seams. Work according to scheme 1 in circular rows along arm-holes. At 10 cm height, finish your work.
Fasten the lower edge of the bolero and sleeves, front and neck-hole according to scheme 2.
