You'll need:

Any type of yarn – about 100grs (120 m/50grs);
Knitting needles 3,5.

Density: 22st. х 22rows = 10cm х 10 cm.

Description

Cast 5 st. on needles.

1st row: front part of work. 1 edge st., 1 knit st.,1 yo.,1 knit st. (this stitch will be central, it can be marked in any convenient way), 1 yo., 1 knit st., 1 edge st. Total: 7 st.;

2nd row. and all even rows: purls. Don't knit central stitch, just slip, the thread should be in front of your work;

3rd row: 1 edge st., 2 knit st., 1 yo., 1 central knit st., 1 yo., 2 knit st., 1 edge st. Total: 9 st.;

5th row: 1 edge st., 3 knit st., 1 yo., 1 central knit st., 1 yo., 3 knit st., 1 edge st. Total: 11 st.;
Make yo. next to central st. and make them in different directions: put the working thread before back st., after central st. - working thread is behind back st.

Continue according to the same scheme, until we get 41 st. In the process of knitting, with an increase in the number of stitches, it is more convenient to switch to work with three knitting needles.

Now proceed to knitting the bottom. Start according to the pattern of knitting the heel of the socks. To do this, we divide all the stitches, 41 pcs. Into three unequal parts - 15,11,15.

Use garter stitch – all purls.

1st row: 15 knit st., take a new needle, 10 knit st., 2 knit st. – in 1 knit st., turn the work;

2nd row: 10 knit st., 2knit st. – in 1 knit st., turn the work.

Then we continue, as on the heel of the toe, knitting the central stitchess with a grip of one stitch from the edging part at the end of each row. As a result, we have only 11 stitches in the center.

Cast on 15 side stitches on the new needle (the same way as sock). As this side of work is purl, so knit it the same way:

1st row: 9 purls, 5 knit st., 1 edge st.;

2nd row: all knit st.;

Further, without breaking the thread, we knit 11st. from the sole. We add one more knitting needle to the work and we collect 15 st. on it for the second side of the slipper.

1st row: 11 st. of the sole and first 5 st. of edging element knit with knit st., 9 purls, 1 edge st.;

2nd row: turn the work and knit due to the ornament - garter stitch.

At this stage, the work can already be tried on to determine the length. For several sizes, schemes are not needed: the toe is the same, just adjust the length of the lower and side elements. Having tied the desired length, we begin to form a heel. We do this in the same way as socks. In each row we knit a full center - 11 st. of the foundation. We knit the last chain, capturing 1 st. from the side parts. In addition, we need to reduce the center of the heel (it is the former loop of the base). This is necessary so that the slippers do not fall off your feet. Therefore, evenly do the descent on the central stitchess, knitting 2 st. twice. in 1 st.

Having closed the side parts, we finish the work, completely close all the remaining stitches. If you want the slipper to sit denser on your leg, you can knit additional rows of 1x1 rib along the edge, or crochet– BP dc.
