The quantity of sts is multiple 2 + 1 + 1 chain st increase.

1st row (WS): 1sc into 2nd ch from hook, *1ch, skip 1ch, 1sc into next ch; rep from * to end, turn;

2nd row: 1ch, 1sc into 1st st, 1ch, sc2tog inserting hook into each of next 2 ch sps, 1ch, *sc2tog inserting hook 1st into same ch sp as previous st then into next ch sp, 1ch; rep from * ending 1sc into last st, skip tch, turn;

3rd row: 1ch, 1sc into 1st st, *1ch, skip 1ch, 1sc into next st; rep from * to end, skip tch, turn.

Repeat 2nd-3rd rows.
