Materials:
H Crochet Hook
Main Color and Contrasting Color Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn
Cluster Stitch: YO, insert hook in next st, YO and pull through 2 loops leaving last loop on hook, repeat 2 more times(4 loops remaining) YO and pull through remaining 4 loops.
Body:
With main color ch 34.
Foundation Row: Make 1 dc in 4th ch from hook *ch 2, skip 2 ch, 1 dc in next st, repeat from * across ending with ch 2, 1 dc in last ch.(12 open spaces)
Row 1: Ch 3, turn, make 2 dc in 1st ch 2 space, *ch 1, 2 dc in next ch 2 space, repeat from * across ending with ch 1, 2 dc in last ch 2 space, 1 dc in 3rd st of turning ch.
Row 2: Ch 5, turn, make 1 dc in 1st ch 1 space, *ch 2, make 1 dc in next ch 1 space, repeat from * across ending with ch 2 and 1 dc in top of turning ch.
Rows 3 - 20: Repeat rows 1 and 2. Fasten off.
Edging:
Row 1: With contrasting color join yarn in any space, work sc all around, making3 sc in each corner. Join with sl st to 1st sc.
Row 2: Chain 3, make 1 cluster st in the next st, *ch 1, skip 1 st, make 1 cluster st in next st, repeat from * all around, making 1 cluster st in each of the 3 sc at each corner. Join in top of beginning ch 3.
Row 3: Ch 1, make 2 sc between each cluster st in the ch 1 space around. Join with sl st to 1st sc. Fasten off and weave in ends.
