You’ll need:

700 (800)g of beige yarn (50% cotton, 50% polyacryl; 65m/50g);

Knitting needles 5;

Circular knitting needles 5.

Size: S (M).

Used Patterns

Relief cable pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 15 + 3 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated. Make WS row sts as they face, yarn overs as purls. Start with 1 selvage st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1st-14th rows.

Stitches control: 18 sts x 23 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 80 (95) sts and make 1 cm = 1 WS row of knit sts for placket, 1 RS row of purl and 1 WS row of purls. Continue work with relief cable pattern. In 56,5 cm = 130 rows from placket, bind off the central  42 (43) sts and finish both sides separately. In 59 cm = 136 rows from placket, bind off the rest 19 (26) sts of shoulder.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but for deeper neck-hole, bind off the central 42 (43) sts in 53 cm = 122 rows from placket.

Sleeves

Cast on 50 sts for each sleeve and make placket in the same way, as for back. Continue work with relief cable pattern. In 12 cm = 28 rows from placket, increase 1 x 1 st from both sides for sleeve chamfer, then, bind off 7 x 1 st in every 10th row (14 x 1 st in every 4th and 6th row) = 66 (80) sts. In 47 cm  = 108 rows from placket, bind off all sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Cast on 110 (112) sts along neck-hole with circular knitting needles and make 1 circle row of knit sts, 2 circle rows of purls. Then, bind off all sts as purls. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
