Fresh Green Crochet Shawl

You’ll need:

75g of neon-green (# 32) Silkhair Lana Grossa yarn (70% mohair, 30% silk; 210m/25g);

75g of the same yarn, but in apple-green color (#51);

75g of the same yarn, but in khaki color (#60);

75g of the same yarn, but in emerald color (# 65);

Crochet hook 6.

Size: 236 х 48 cm.

Note: work in 4 threads of yarn. Make striped edges with one color yarn in 4 threads, make relief pattern in 4 threads of yarn – 1 thread of each color.

Used Patterns

Single crochets: start every row with 1 chain st, which doesn’t replace single crochet. Make the last st of every row in the 1^st st of the previous row.

Relief pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 10 + 11 + 4 chain sts increase instead of the 1^st treble crochet. Work due to the scheme. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat between arrows x 3 times, finish with sts after pattern repeat.

Note: make groups of treble crochets and single crochets of the 2^nd row in chain sts of the previous row. Make 1^st-3^rd rows x once, then, repeat 2^nd-3^rd rows.

Stripes order: 2 neon-green rows, 2 apple-green rows, 2 khaki rows, finish with 3 emerald rows = 9 rows.

Stitches control: relief pattern: 1 pattern repeat x 4 rows = 12 x 10 cm;

Single crochets: 10,5 sts x 9 rows = 10 x 8 cm.

Instructions

Make central part with relief pattern. For this, make 41 chain sts + 4 chain sts increase instead of the 1^st treble crochet + 3 chain sts before the 1^st single crochets in 4 threads of yarn (1 thread of each color). Make relief pattern, make the 1^st single crochet of the 1^st row in the 10^th chain st from the crochet hook and pattern repeat x 3 times between arrows.

In 220 cm = 89 rows from the beginning, finish your work. For placket, make 2 x 50 chain sts + 1 chain st increase along the edge with neon-green yarn in 4 threads. Then, make 8 cm = 9 rows of single crochets due to the stripes order, make the 1^st single crochet in the 2^nd chain st from the crochet hook. Finish your work. Sew the last emerald row of edging plackets to the set-up row or the last row of the central part.
