​Violet Crochet Skirt

You’ll need:

600g of violet Alpina Oskar yarn (100% cotton; 115m/50g);

50g of the same yarn, but in purple color;

Crochet hook 3,5;

Scissors;

Stitch markers.

Size: S-M.

Instructions

Upper Part

Make 164 chain sts with violet yarn and circle them in the ring with the help of 1 slip st.

1^st row: 3 chain sts increase, make 163 double crochets in the next 163 chain sts of the set-up row;

2^nd row: 4 chain sts (3 chain sts increase + 1 chain st), * 1 double crochet in the 2^nd double crochet of the previous row, 1 chain st*; repeat from * to * x 80 times, totally, 82 times. Don’t finish this row with slip st. After that, continue work with slip st. Then, continue work due to the scheme to the 86^th row. Finish your work, cut and fasten the yarn;

87^th row: join purple yarn to the lower row and work due to the scheme to the 88^th row.

Finish your work.

Lower Part

Join violet yarn from WS side behind the 5^th row.

1^st row: 3 chain sts increase, 3 chain sts increase, make 163 double crochets in the next 163 chain sts of the set-up row, 1 slip st;

2^nd row: 4 chain sts (3 chain sts increase +1 chain st), * 1 double crochet in the 2^nd double crochet of the previous row*; repeat from * to * x 80 times, totally, 82 times. Finish the row with slip st. Then, work due to the scheme from the 2^nd to the 40^th row. Cut and fasten the yarn.

Assembly

Make a cord of the needed length and insert is between double crochets of the 2^nd row.
