Back
Cast on 82 sts and make 12 rows of 2 x 2 rib. Continue work with stockinette stitch. After making 15 rows from the beginning of work, decrease 1 x 1 st for better fitting. After making 30 rows from rib, increase 3 x 1 st in every 20th row from both sides for better fitting = 88 sts. After making 66 rows from rib, make jacquard pattern due to the scheme 1. After making 112 rows from rib, work with white yarn to the end of the detail. At the same time, transfer the central 32 sts to the auxiliary needle for neck-hole and finish both sides separately, decrease 1 x 1 st in every 2nd row for smooth rounding. After making 116 rows from rib, bind off 27 sts for each shoulder.
Left Front
Cast on 40 sts with white yarn and make in the same way, as ½ back. After making 108 rows from rib, bind off 1 x 13 sts and 3 x 1 st in every 2nd row from left side for neck-hole. After making 116 rows from rib, bind off 27 sts for each shoulder.
Right Front
Make in reflection to the left front.
Sleeves
Make shoulder seams. Mark 21 cm from both sides of shoulder seams, cast on 75 sts with cherry yarn at this part of cloth and work with jacquard pattern due to the scheme 2. Continue work with white yarn, decrease 16 x 1 st in every 7th row from both sides for chamfers. After making 90 rows with white yarn, work with jacquard pattern due to the scheme 3, then, make 18 rows of 2 x 2 rib. Bind off sts, don’t tighten it. Make another sleeve in reflections to the first one.
Assembly
Make side and sleeve seams. For left front placket, cast on 5 sts with cherry yarn and work with garter stitch, making placket in the edge of front. For this, * knit 5 sts of placket, draw the 6th st through selvage st of front, turn, slip selvage st, make the next 2 sts together, finish to the end of row, turn*; repeat from * to * until you’ll work to neck-hole, then, leave your work.
Make right front placket in the same way, but starting from the 8th row, make 7 button-holes in every 18 rows. Sew buttons.
